I’m an ENT surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. I’ve worked with patients across Romania, the UK, Ireland, and the UAE, covering the full spectrum of ear, nose, and throat conditions, from children with recurrent ear infections to adults navigating complex diagnoses, from straightforward procedures to head and neck surgery.

Why I built this

In every clinic, I see the same thing: patients who are frightened not because their condition is serious, but because nobody has properly explained it to them. They’ve searched online and found either nothing useful or something that made the fear worse.

Every article, video, and resource on this platform is designed to build the correct mental model — not to simplify medicine, but to make it genuinely understandable. I believe that a patient who understands what is happening with their health makes better decisions, asks better questions, and gets better outcomes. That belief is the foundation of everything here.

The philosophy

A note on the philosophy

Medical decisions are never purely clinical. They are human decisions, shaped by fear, hope, identity, and the stories we tell ourselves about our own bodies.

I take that seriously. You’ll notice it in the way I write and speak. I try to acknowledge the human dimension of every medical question, not as a detour from the medicine, but as a deeper engagement with it. I call this kind of medical practice PhiloPhy – the philosophical physician, you’ll notice in my blog posts. The recognition that every medical question has a human dimension worth acknowledging.

Medical care shouldn’t stop at the clinic door. Patients deserve support and clarity during the uncertain times between appointments. Understanding your condition is part of treating it. Knowledge belongs outside the consultation room, too.
